The Edmonton Heartbeat Run is an annual event promoting heart health and the prevention of heart disease through active lifestyles. It offers various distances suitable for all fitness levels and serves as a fundraiser for the University Hospital Foundation, supporting cardiovascular care.

Participants are encouraged to share the experience with family, friends, and co-workers to promote increased awareness and community involvement.

• Scenic routes along the North Saskatchewan River, showcasing fall foliage
• 10km course consists of two laps of the 5km route
• Water stations at 2.5km turnaround and lap/finish area
• Road surface throughout the course
• Participants encouraged to bring own water containers to support environmental sustainability
