The 5 Peaks Trail Running Series at Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area is the fourth race in the Northern Alberta series. Chickakoo offers 480 acres of scenic woods and lakes, attracting diverse wildlife such as moose, deer, and beavers. The area is popular for runners, hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders in summer, and is groomed for cross-country skiing in winter.

The race features challenging hill climbs, technical singletrack, steep downhills, and fast hard pack sections, providing a rewarding trail running experience for all levels.
