13th Annual WFPS Run 2025

<p>The WFPS Run began in 2012 as a small event to raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The inaugural race attracted 1,665 participants and raised $25,000. By 2025, the event has grown to host over 4,000 runners and has raised more than $500,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.</p>
<p>This event emphasizes inclusiveness, community engagement, and supports local charities, with a variety of race distances suited for all ages and abilities.</p>

<li>Start/Finish Location: Canadian Mennonite University North Campus, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd, Winnipeg, MB</li>
<li>Half Marathon: 8:00 AM start, 4-hour limit, course marked in miles, 8 aid stations, GU energy gels at mile 8</li>
<li>10K: 8:30 AM start, 2-hour limit, course marked in kilometers, 3 aid stations</li>
<li>5K: 8:45 AM start, 2-hour limit, 1 aid station, stroller permitted at back</li>
<li>Teeny Trot 1K (kids run): 11:30 AM start on October 18, out-and-back on pathway</li>
<li>All races conducted on road surfaces</li>
