The Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon started in 2005 as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society and has since raised over $2.8 million for cancer research. This premier Manitoba running event features a half marathon, two-person relay, and 5K race, welcoming runners of all levels.

The race begins and ends at scenic Assiniboine Park, known for its flat, paved roads ideal for beginners and experienced runners. With enthusiastic volunteers and spectators supporting along the course, participants experience a friendly and energizing atmosphere.
