WINDSOR WATERFRONT HALF MARATHON & 5KM 2025

The Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5K is a premier event designed to showcase Windsor as a top destination for big city races. This out-and-back, timed, and certified course offers an energy-filled, runner’s dream experience.

Runners can expect scenic views of the Detroit skyline, historic landmarks, and waterfront parks while enjoying a festive atmosphere with music, spectators, and cheering crowds.

- Out-and-back certified course on road surface
- Start with Detroit skyline on the left, heading east along Riverside Drive
- First turn-around under Hiram Walker distillery with music and spectators
- Pass start line again for spectator boost
- Westward run under Ambassador Bridge
- Second turn-around at music-filled archway with cheering crowd
- Runner interaction with opposite-side high-fives
- Final stretch downhill toward waterfront to finish line at Festival Plaza

- Start in front of Caesars Windsor casino and hotel
- Scenic views of the Detroit skyline
- Run along fully closed Riverside Drive and waterfront parks
- Pass by the famous Hiram Walker distillery (Canadian Club Whisky, JP Wiser’s, Polar Ice Vodka)
- Energetic turn-around points with spectators, music, and cheer
- Run underneath the Ambassador Bridge into historic Sandwich town
- Finish downhill toward Festival Plaza with a waterfront view
