Celebrating its 8th year, the Vancouver Island Trail Running Series at Cobble Hill features classic west coast single-track trails around Cobble Hill Mountain Recreation area. Runners can expect a scenic and challenging route filled with rocks, roots, old growth forest, and beautiful single track.

The event offers multiple race categories including long, short, and kids races, with aid stations, cupless hydration, and post-race nutrition and draw prizes. It’s a supportive and scenic trail running experience in beautiful British Columbia.

• Long Course: ~25 km, 915m vertical gain, starts 10:30 AM; entry fees $74.25 (Dec 6–Aug 1), $90.90 (Aug 2–Aug 14), $120 race day; trail running; no stroller
• Short Course: ~12 km, 640m vertical gain, starts 11:00 AM; entry fees $63.15 (Dec 6–Aug 1), $79.80 (Aug 2–Aug 14), $100 race day; trail running; no stroller
• Kids Race: ~1 km, starts 10:15 AM; entry fee $13.19 (Dec 6–Aug 14); trail running

• Long Course: ~25 km, 915m vertical gain, 4 aid stations, cutoff times at 11km (2h15m) and 17km (3h15m)
• Short Course: ~12 km, 640m vertical gain, 1 aid station
• Kids Race: ~1 km, supports Cowichan Valley Trailblazers Society
• Bib pickup requires government-issued photo ID with staggered times
• Parking not allowed at park; designated areas on Hutchinson Rd, Watson Ave, and Fisher Ave
• Cupless event: participants bring their own drinking vessels
• Aid stations stocked with water, Gatorade, fruit, chips, pickles, snacks
• Post-race nutrition and draw prizes available
