TRiO Race Series Race 2: Heritage Woods Trail Race 2026

The TRiO Race Series Race 2 — Heritage Woods Trail Race takes place May 30 in Port Moody, BC. Organized by TRiO Sport Events, it forms the second stop in the 2026 TRiO Race Series and brings a trail-focused option to the series roster.

The event offers 5K and 10K distance choices contested on trail terrain through the Heritage Woods area. Races are chip-timed using the IPICO Sport system with live results and gun-time scoring. The weekend also includes a Kids Fun Run (approximately 500 m) designed for families and young participants.

What sets Heritage Woods Trail Race apart is its place inside the larger TRiO championship format. Competitors earn series points toward 5K and 10K category championships; point leaders wear special race leader bibs at races 2 and 3 and receive recognition before the starts. The series also runs draw prizes and awards medals, and the full-series registration carries a promotional draw for Arc'teryx shoes (first 100 series registrants are entered). Team and family registration discounts are available, and the race atmosphere focuses on community participation alongside competitive racing.

Online registration for TRiO events closes at midnight three days before each race (for May 30 this falls on May 27); in-person registration is available at packet pickup and on race day. Note the series offers combined registration options and a no-refund policy with the possibility to defer fees to another TRiO Sport Events race of equal or lesser value.
