Trapline Marathon 2025

The Trapline Marathon is the Trappers' Running Club's largest and longest-running annual event, held since 2008. This Boston Marathon qualifying race starts in North West River and finishes in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, showcasing scenic views and a peaceful rural setting.

Runners from across Canada and around the world participate in a variety of distances including marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and kids races. The event is celebrated for true Labrador hospitality, well-stocked aid stations, enthusiastic volunteers, and a post-race spread featuring local Labrador foods.

- Marathon course time limit: 6 hours 30 minutes (9:15/km pace)
- Multiple race distances: marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, kids 1 km and 3 km runs
- Course is relatively flat with rolling hills including "Minipi Hill" approx. 9 km from finish
- Race surface: Road
- Bib pick-up on Oct 11, 9:30 AM for kids races; 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM for others at 6 Hillcrest Road (Chamber of Commerce)
- No headphones allowed on course for safety
