About The Ribbon 200 2026

The Ribbon 200 is a multi-day wilderness trail race staged June 10–14, 2026 in Ravenna, Ontario and organized by Crazy Cat Adventures. The event brings together long-distance trail runners for three distinct challenges—200 miles, 100 miles and a 72.5 km end-to-end through the Blue Mountains—and positions itself as Ontario’s newest 200‑mile test along the Bruce Trail.

Races use a mix of formats: the 200‑mile is an out‑and‑back, the 100‑mile is a point‑to‑point, and the Blue Mountains E2E covers approximately 72.5 km. Start windows span the multi-day schedule (200‑mile starters begin early in the week, the 100‑mile and E2E run over the weekend) with published cutoffs: 200‑mile 102 hours, 100‑mile 30 hours (an optional early start extends to 42 hours but is not award‑eligible) and the E2E 27 hours. Organizers provide logistical support including bus transport for 100‑mile and E2E starters and parking at the Blue Mountain summit lot.

What distinguishes The Ribbon 200 is its Bruce Trail DNA and expedition-style logistics: the route follows contiguous Bruce Trail sections through the Blue Mountains, Dufferin Hi‑Land and Caledon Hills and is marked only with the Bruce Trail white blazes. Runners should expect technical singletrack, sustained climbing and substantial cumulative elevation (roughly 7,500 m on the 200‑mile, ~3,700 m on the 100‑mile and ~1,500 m on the E2E). Race support is robust for an ultra of this scale—11–13 staffed aid stations with hot food, multiple sleep stations and a handful of unmanned water stops—and finishers earn strong hardware: buckles for 100/200 mile finishers and a medal for E2E finishers, plus Bruce Trail E2E badges.

Registration is open through the organizer; entry includes race swag, free high‑resolution photos and pre/post‑race banquets. A payment plan is offered at checkout for longer distances; prospective entrants should consult the official event page for current entry windows, fundraising options and the runner’s manual with required gear and aid‑station details.
