The Beav Trail Race 2026
The Beav Trail Race runs on October 31 in Milton, Ontario, inside Hilton Falls Conservation Area. Organized by Happy Trails Racing and sanctioned by Athletics Ontario, the event brings trail runners to one of Halton Region’s most scenic parklands for a single-day autumn challenge.
Runners can choose from three distances: 10 km, 25 km and 50 km. The 25 km is offered with an early-start option that is treated as a separate race, while the 50 km consists of two laps of the 25 km loop and carries a 9-hour cutoff. Registration tiers and pricing vary by period and prizing is awarded to the top three finishers in each distance.
What sets Beav apart is its mix of fast, mostly groomed trails with short technical sections and a highlight stretch on the Bruce Trail that leads to the base of Hilton Falls. The race is cup-less—participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottles for aid stations—and finishers earn a custom medal. Apparel is included with entries: 25 km and 50 km registrations include a custom hoodie, while 10 km entrants receive a t-shirt with an optional hoodie upgrade. The event also supports community and charitable causes, listing MedVents and the Movember Foundation as fundraising partners, and features on-site activations such as a La Sportiva demo shoe fleet and giveaways.
Registration is handled through Race Roster; the organizer’s refund and transfer policies include a 100% race credit up to 30 days before the race and bib transfers up to 5 days prior.
