The Electrolit 5K Foam Fest comes to Ottawa on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Organized by the team behind the international 5K Foam Fest series, this event brings the same high-energy, obstacle-filled format that has toured Canadian cities in recent summers. The event is a single-distance, family-friendly 5-kilometre obstacle course open to participants ages 7 and up. Runners and walkers navigate more than 25 inflatable and foam obstacles — from slip 'n' slides and cargo climbs to a Mega Slide and dedicated foam zones — designed to make the course wet, muddy and playful rather than competitive. A Kids Free Fun Zone and family pass ticket options make it easy to come as a group.

What sets this stop apart is the production scale: organizers pump out 2.5 million cubic feet of foam at each event and pack the course with large inflatables (including the world’s largest inflatable waterslide at selected venues).
