The Stouffville Main Street 5k takes place on June 21, 2026 in Whitchurch‑Stouffville, Ontario. Organized by the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, this is the fourth annual running of the community 5K held on Father’s Day weekend. The event brings local families, clubs and neighbourhood walkers together to support health care close to home.
The event is a single-distance 5K open to walkers and runners. Race day begins at 8:30 a.m. with a start and finish at Stouffville Memorial Park; participants follow a route along Main Street through Whitchurch‑Stouffville’s downtown. The format encourages casual participation — runners, families and groups are all welcome to walk, run or stroll the course.
What sets the Stouffville Main Street 5k apart is its community-first focus and its charity tie-in: proceeds support the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. The downtown Main Street route offers a small-town atmosphere that keeps local businesses and residents involved, and the Father’s Day timing makes it an easy addition to a family morning. Past editions highlight strong community turnout and a friendly, neighbourhood finish back at Memorial Park.
Registration is handled through Race Roster; entries and ticket tiers are listed on the event registration page. For race-day questions or community partnership enquiries, contact Janine Slaman at janine.slaman@townofws.ca or 905-640-1900 ext. 2466.
