Ste Anne Rock & Run 2026
Ste Anne Rock & Run 2026 takes place on May 24, 2026 in Ste Anne, Manitoba. Organized by the event committee (event contact: Vanessa Petsch), this is the third annual Rock & Run and returns as a community-focused spring race that brings families and local runners together in Redemptorist Park.
The event offers three distances: a 1KM Kids Run, a 5KM Family Fun Walk/Run and a 10KM Run. Event gates open at 8:00 AM, the 1KM Kids Run starts at 8:30 AM, and the competitive 10KM begins at 9:00 AM followed by the 5KM. A prize and award ceremony for the 5KM and 10KM is scheduled for about 10:30 AM. Race kit pickup takes place the day before, Saturday, May 23 from 4:00–9:00 PM at Phoenix Cheer (549 Traverse Rd, Ste Anne).
What sets Ste Anne Rock & Run apart is its charity focus and family-first approach. Proceeds for 2026 support The Robb Nash Project, an organization that uses music and storytelling to advance youth mental health initiatives. Every registration includes a T-shirt and medal (note: T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after May 1). The kids’ race features top-finisher prizes plus bonus prize draws, and the family format explicitly accommodates strollers — the child in a stroller does not require separate registration while all walkers must be registered. The race is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners Association and listed in the Youth & Celebration Series, which draws local clubs and youth participants.
Registration is open now with regular pricing through mid-May; entrants who want guaranteed T-shirt sizing should register before May 1, and entries are available through the event’s registration window (regular registration runs through May 17).
