The Santa Shuffle began 34 years ago in Edmonton, Alberta, as a fundraiser for local Salvation Army initiatives. In 2001, it expanded nationally with events in every Canadian province. The event features a 5K Fun Run and a 1K Elf Walk, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels.

Funds raised support local Salvation Army programs in the community. The Langley event is held at Blacklock Fine Arts Elementary and offers a festive start to the holiday season for runners and walkers.
