The Roots & Ruts Trail Race takes place on the Waxwing Trails within South Bear Creek Park. The course features a mix of dirt paths, grassy sections, and natural trail surfaces, offering a moderate challenge suitable for all experience levels. Runners will encounter varied elevations, with gentle climbs and descents that showcase the park's natural terrain. The trails are well-marked and maintained, but participants should be prepared for some uneven ground typical of off-road running environments.
