The Orange Shirt Day Run/Walk Saskatoon is an annual event held on September 30th to honor Indigenous children who did not survive the residential school era and to support survivors in their healing journey. The event raises funds for OrangeShirtDay.org and local grassroots movements, including promoting and supporting Indigenous athletes.
The event features a ceremony with elders and speakers at Rotary Park, followed by a round dance and a race combining pavement and trail running along the Meewasin Trail.
