About Loonie Loops 2025
Loonie Loops is New Brunswick's first and only 24-hour trail race, featuring 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour race options to suit participants of all levels. Completing as many 3.1 km loops as possible around Ashburn Lake, runners tackle 90 meters of elevation per lap on moderately technical trails, all while supporting the YMCA Strong Communities Fund.
The event includes on-site camping the night before for a small fee, with all proceeds benefiting the YMCA. With scenic lake and island views from a lookout point along the course, Loonie Loops offers a rewarding challenge in a beautiful setting.
