Dash of Doom Halloween Run 2025

The Dash of Doom Halloween Run on October 25, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta, celebrates its 10th anniversary with fun for the whole family and your pets. Enjoy a 1 km Kids Race, 5 km walk/run, and 10 km run while dressed in your best costume. Awards are presented for the best costumes, including a special prize for the best dog costume, which will be featured on the 2026 medal and shirt.

Pre-race festivities begin at 2:00 PM with free face painting, games, and a dog costume parade. The event supports the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) and has raised over $64,000 in the past nine years. Optional finisher medals promote sustainability, and all children participating in the Kids Race receive medals. Come join us for a festive and charitable day full of running, costumes, and community spirit!

• Start Location: North Glenmore Park, Snowy Owl Picnic Site, Calgary, AB
• Course Type: Single Loop
• 5 km Participants: Complete the loop once
• 10 km Participants: Complete the loop twice
• Aid Stations: Water and Nuun available at one aid station on course and at the finish line
• Amenities: Candy aid stations, pre-race Halloween festivities, chip-timed event
