
Buttertart Trot 2025
The Buttertart Trot is an annual community event in Midland, Ontario, celebrating the area's charm and its famous butter tarts. Founded by the Parker family over a decade ago to promote wellness and outdoor activity, it has grown into an accredited race attracting over 750 runners worldwide with options ranging from a 1km Kids Fun Run to a half marathon.
The race begins at the historic Sainte-Marie among the Hurons site and offers scenic views along Georgian Bay. The enjoyable course includes butter tart stations en route, making it a unique and delicious experience that keeps participants coming back year after year.
