Bay of Fundy International Marathon 2025

The Bay of Fundy International Marathon is a unique cross-border race between Lubec, Maine, USA, and Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. Established in 2013, the event features marathon, half marathon, and 10K races with scenic routes showcasing lighthouses, fishing villages, and ocean views. The marathon and half marathon courses cross the international border multiple times without stopping, requiring pre-clearance by both U.S. and Canadian border agencies.

Volunteers from both communities organize this well-regarded event, which is certified by Athletics Canada and USATF, serving as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Each race offers a mix of paved roads and some dirt trails, providing an inspiring setting by the Bay of Fundy.
