The Bay of Fundy International Marathon is a unique cross-border race between Lubec, Maine, USA, and Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada. Established in 2013, the event features marathon, half marathon, and 10K races with scenic routes showcasing lighthouses, fishing villages, and ocean views. The marathon and half marathon courses cross the international border multiple times without stopping, requiring pre-clearance by both U.S. and Canadian border agencies.
