5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Devon 2025

5 Peaks Devon is the final event of the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series in Northern Alberta. Located just 30 minutes south of Edmonton, the Town of Devon offers fantastic river valley trails—both single track and hard pack—amidst beautiful autumn colors. The event features distances suitable for all ages and abilities, with the start/finish at the Devon Lions Campground, providing an ideal spot for a warm post-race campfire.

The race attracts trail runners looking for scenic routes and a community atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to bring reusable cups as the event is proudly cup-free, supporting environmental sustainability.

• No on-site parking; shuttle service operates from John Maland High School between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
• Safety rules: no dogs, headphones, strollers, or Nordic walking poles allowed on course.
• Washroom facilities available at start/finish area.
• Spectators welcome with best views at the start/finish area.
• Awards for top three finishers in gender and age categories; must be picked up race day.
• Environmentally conscious cup-free event — bring your own reusable hydration container.

• The race starts with a challenging hill climb to the ridge followed by a descent through single track trails.
• Finishes with 2 kilometers of hard-packed river trail showcasing beautiful autumn colors.
• Race distances include Sport (8 km, one loop), Enduro (16 km, two loops), Grit (24 km, three loops), and Kids Challenge (1 km and 3 km).
• Distances and routes may change based on trail conditions until race day.
