2026 Sporting Life 10K
The Sporting Life 10K is Toronto’s spring 10K held on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Presented by ASICS and running since 2000, the event has grown into a signature midtown-to-downtown road race that attracts recreational runners and club competitors across the province. Over the years the event has supported fundraising for Campfire Circle and built a large participant community—more than 390,000 people have taken part and the initiative has helped raise in excess of $29 million.
The in-person race launches at 7:30 am EST from midtown Toronto at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue. The primary offering is the on-course 10K that sends runners south along Yonge Street toward the core. In addition to the live event, organizers run a Virtual 10K program from May 10–31, 2026; virtual participants can run, jog, walk or use an assistive device in their own community at their own pace.
What sets Sporting Life 10K apart is its fast, largely downhill route that showcases Yonge Street and downtown Yonge–Dundas. The race doubles as a major fundraiser: entrants and donors support Campfire Circle’s medically supported camp programs for children with cancer and serious illness. Campfire Circle’s programming includes on-site medical care at Campfire Circle Muskoka, a unique capability that underscores the charity’s clinical support for campers.
Interested runners can register through Race Roster; the event page links to the official registration portal for entry and fundraising details.
